Refund and Return Policy

At MP Auto Parts East Africa, we are committed to providing high-quality vehicle spare parts. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or encounter a technical issue, please review our policy below.

1. Engine & Gearbox Warranty (1 Month)

Coverage: All used and reconditioned engines and gearboxes come with a one-month (30-day) limited warranty starting from the date of purchase or delivery.

Free Exchange: If the engine or gearbox is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing or mechanical defect within this period, we will provide a free exchange for a similar unit.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by improper installation by non-certified mechanics.

Failures due to misuse, neglect, or accidents (e.g., overheating, lack of oil/lubrication).

External accessories (e.g., sensors, wiring harnesses, manifolds, or water pumps) unless explicitly stated.

Labor costs for removal or re-installation of the replacement unit.

2. General Spare Parts Returns

Return Window: Most other spare parts (excluding electrical items) can be returned within 7 to 14 days of purchase.

Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and original packaging.

Electrical Parts: Please note that electrical parts are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are found to be defective upon immediate professional installation.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Warranty Claim

Notify Us: Contact our support team immediately at info@mpautopartseastafrica.com or via our contact page within the warranty window.

Proof of Purchase: A copy of the original sales receipt or invoice is mandatory for all claims.

Inspection: All returned parts will undergo a technical inspection. Exchanges or refunds will only be processed after our technicians confirm the defect.

Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the part to our physical location in Nairobi.

4. Refunds

Refund Eligibility: Refunds are only issued if a suitable replacement for a faulty part is not available in stock.

Processing Time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days using the original payment method
